About Nisan

Among Nissan convenience and budget-oriented cars is the # Teana . The most common in Kenya is the 2nd Gen (2008- 2013 manufacture years); there is a later production; 3rd Gen (2013 to now). This is one of the most confusing models as besides bearing different names in different markets, it’s a successor to some others. Also known as Maxima in some markets (it’s also around here).

It’s availed with 4 different engines for you to pick from depending on your requirements and persona; MR20DE L4, VQ25DE V6, QR25DE L4 and VQ35DE V6. It also comes in various power capacity; 2000 cc, 2500 cc and 3500 cc. And guess what? The QR25DE comes on all fours (4 Wheel Drive)!!! Acceleration from nil to 100 Km/h is on an average of 12 seconds, CVT transmission.

This is also a relatively spacious model in its class (the D-segment). You may not tell the differences between the J32 (2nd gen) and the L33 (3rd gen) till they are placed side by side where almost every other feature in L33 is an upgrade and in a more curvy form. Performance however is definitely level. Prices will widely vary since it’s an older model but with high performance.
